Our statement on recent events in Ukraine

As a restorative practices organisation our work is not just about conflicts and harm between individuals but also about a way of living in our communities and in the world. In any conflict we recognise that there is a multitude of perspectives. In wars, wherever they are in the world, there are no winners as there are casualties on all sides and effects that last for generations.
In this dangerous time for Europe and as people who believe in restorative practices we are committed to the alleviation of the suffering caused by violence. We appeal for the resolution of the current conflict in Ukraine through honest diplomacy and respectful dialogue.
As supporters of the European Forum for Restorative Justice, our statement reflects elements of theirs. #EFRJ
